Sam Kogon and John Flansburgh of They Might Be Giants, sit down and have an informal style of interview based around TMBG's latest record, 'Nanobots'.
The two go on to discuss the two John's history, going all the way back to their high-school days. Moving ahead, John talks about what it was like when TMBG first moved to the desolate and quarantined Brooklyn of the 1980's (not to be mistaken with the posh Brooklyn of today).
John and Sam end up gushing over Marshall Crenshaw and his talented guitar styling. Leading up to an in depth discussion on David Bowie's new record, 'The Next Day', and what it all means...
The interview goes back to talk about TMBG's new record, and what the mildly disturbing album art is all about. From there, the timeless album, 'Flood', is brought up, as well as some hinting at a new possible direction that TMBG is trying to go in.
